Your Own In-House Platform We learn yours, not propose ours.
Some manufacturers run a system built for their own operation rather than bought off a shelf. It fits how they work, it is usually undocumented, and it is the reason they have been told more than once that outsourcing is not possible for them.
The situation this addresses
A system that grew around one business. It carries assumptions nobody has written down, conventions that made sense at the time, and a great deal of accumulated logic that works.
Every supplier who has looked at it has proposed replacing it. That is usually the wrong answer, because the system is not the problem. Capacity is.
How learning an environment actually works
- We learn yours rather than proposing ours.
- If your shop runs on it, that is the environment the work happens in.
- The first project is the documentation.
- Conventions, logic and the things that only make sense once someone explains them get recorded in a Standards Record as the work proceeds, rather than through a discovery phase that produces a document nobody reads.
- Your people stay the authority.
- Where the environment does something for a reason we do not know, we ask rather than assume. Undocumented logic is usually load-bearing.
- Everything else is unchanged.
- Two-stage checking, a named senior reviewer, your title block, a committed calendar date.
What we do not do
- We do not develop, extend or modify your system.
- Software development is not what we do, in your environment or any other.
- We do not propose replacing it.
- If the system works for your operation, the reason to change it would have to come from you.
- We do not write post-processors or G-code.
- That stays with your programmer or your machine integrator.

What makes an environment harder or easier
Easier: consistent conventions, a current standard, and someone available to answer a convention question without escalating it.
Harder: conventions that vary by operator, logic nobody remembers the reason for, and a single person holding all of it.
Neither makes the work impossible. They change how long the first project takes, and being honest about which one you have is more useful than optimism.

Frequently Asked Questions
Our system is nothing like standard software. Is that a problem?
Several clients run platforms built for their own operation. If your shop runs on it, we learn it. What it takes is access, a named contact who can answer a convention question, and a first project small enough that a misunderstanding costs a conversation.
How long does it take to learn an environment?
It depends on how documented your conventions are. That is why the first project is deliberately small and why what we learn goes into a Standards Record rather than into one person’s memory.
Will you want to change how we work?
No. Where something blocks the work we raise it as a question. Whether anything changes is your decision.
Do you develop software?
No. We detail inside the environment you run. Development, extension and modification of your system are not services we offer.
Send a set from your own environment
Whether an outside team can work in it is a question best answered on real work.
- Your environment learned and worked in, never replaced
- Undocumented conventions recorded in a Standards Record
- System development or migration never proposed
- One named contact, not a general queue
