The question most shops actually want answered is whether an outside team will work inside their environment or quietly export the job into their own. We work in yours.
What changes with the platform
- The output you can get.
- A parametric environment can produce part data and machine-ready output that a 2D environment cannot. What is available downstream depends on what the platform holds upstream.
- How much setup the work needs.
- Environments driven by libraries and rules require those libraries to exist and be current. Where they do not, the first project carries that cost.
- How the geometry is built.
- Modelled assemblies, parametric definitions and 2D geometry are three different working methods, and the same finished drawing can come from any of them at very different effort.
- What is reusable.
- Some environments make the second project genuinely cheaper. Others repeat most of the work each time.
What never changes
The standard applied, the checking, and whose drawings they are.
Every set is drawn under your title block, checked by someone other than the detailer who produced it, and reviewed by a named senior person before it reaches you. Your conventions live in a Standards Record on your account regardless of environment.
Platform choice changes the deliverable. It does not change the discipline.

What we do not do
- We do not write machine code.
- Post-processors, toolpath and G-code depend on a specific machine, its controller, its tooling and its condition. That work stays with your programmer or your machine integrator, in every environment, permanently.
- We do not sell software, licences or implementation.
- We are not a reseller, a partner or an implementation consultancy for any platform.
- We do not migrate you to a platform we prefer.
- If your environment is the one you run, that is the environment the work happens in.
