Sample drawing sets Judge the sheets, not the sales copy.
A detailer judges competence in about ninety seconds from a sheet. So here are real sheets – representative casework submittals in imperial and metric, plus a mixed-material fixture package – redacted, and yours to review before you commit to anything.
Available sets
Every set below is a representative sample – redacted, and labelled as representative rather than a specific client project. Enter your work email once and all three are available.
-
Casework submittal – imperial
A representative shop and submittal drawing set drawn to AWI/AWMAC conventions, imperial units, redacted for release.
Download -
Casework submittal – metric
The same submittal drawing type, drawn to BS/BWF conventions in metric units, for UK and European review.

What to look for (a checker’s eye)
If you’re judging whether a set is worth trusting a real package to, here’s what a checker actually looks at first:
- Whether dimensions on plan, section and detail agree with each other
- Whether hardware is scheduled, not just drawn as a symbol
- Whether the tolerance and adjustment strategy is called out, not implied
- Whether the title block and revision history are complete and legible
- Whether finish schedules are cross-referenced, not left to the last sheet
- Whether the sheet would actually survive a shop floor, not just a screen
